and yellow. With different blooming times, you are sure to see an extravagant arrangement no matter what time of year you visit. Tours are available daily during park hours (6 AM to 10 PM), but you should not stop with just the roses. Covering 1017 acres, Golden Gate Park is one of the largest urban parks in the world, with over 13 million visitors annually. A music concourse, multiple museums, the Japanese Tea Garden, two lakes (Stow Lake and Sprockets Lake), windmills and a Beach Chalet are just a few of the unique attractions you can see during your visit.

Rose lovers will love this garden, which is in bloom continuously, since some of the rosebushes bloom twice a year! Within the vast Golden Gate Park, the rose garden is located between JLK Drive & Park Presidio Drive. Peak time for the most roses in bloom is summer, of course. However, various types of roses bloom at different times, so there is always something colorful to see. Are you planning a wedding in San Francisco? The Rose Garden is a popular site for weddings. They even offer package deals.

Not a huge area, but it's a nice area to walk around and see different types of roses. Some of the roses weren't blooming...don't know if that was because people were taking the roses off or they just need more time. Really enjoyed looking at the roses anyway!
