Juárez Park is a favorite place in town for walking, to do exercise, to play basketball or just spend time with your family or friends, since its a park with lots of trees, flowers, plants, and just three blocks to the South of the Parroquia, in downtown.

During the year, arts and crafts festivals, food festivals, plant festivals are happening here. It's also an ideal place to walk or run. A beautiful park.

Just a short stroll from the house, this is a lovely spot to while away a few hours on a weekend, taking in an arts show, a hoops game, live music, the annual Candelaria Plant Festival and more.

Our answer to New York's Central Park (OK maybe a little stretch). There is always something on in Parque Juarez (including weekly art shows).

What a lovely place to stroll.

INSIDER SECRET:
Weekdays at 9AM there are TaiChi classes next to the basketball court.

The Saturday Organica Market and Parque Juárez are just a few minutes away by foot. Parque Juárez is a magnificent spot where artists frequently set up their easels to paint and to sell their work. Gorgeous park with many historical sites, playground, exercise equipment, surrounded by old San Miguel style homes and lush greenery.

Lovely spot to chill, read a book, take a walk or just people watch. You'll enjoy the shade of decades old trees, beautiful flowers and the tranquility away from traffic and crowds. The little folk traveling with you will love the safe and fun playground created just for them.

One of the nicest parks in the area -- great place to be for a few hours after walking the nearby streets. Some of the most beautiful San Miguel houses are in this area.

Our apartment is only a short easy walk to this great park. Parque Juarez is a lovely place to visit, take a stroll or attend an event of which there are many throughout the year. There is a wonderful playground for young children and a great basketball area for older children and adults. There is often art work displayed in the park and always something to drink or eat. There are also many great restaurants close by the park.

The largest and best loved park in San Miguel is only minutes from Casa Carolina. At any time of day you will find runners and walkers, dog walkers, basketball players, zumba classes, lovers, a playground full of happy kids, and cultural events, .....all taking place under the canopy of shade trees in this lovely and serene setting.

This is a cute little park where they often have Zumba on Saturday mornings and sometimes have bands play there at night. It's a good place to exercize, take the kids to play or just hang out on a bench on one of the many paths that wind through the park.

Beautiful park in the center of town with wonderful paths where you can walk, people watch, catch "Art in the Parque" on weekends, play basketball, do zoomba on Saturday mornings, a great playground with very modern and nice equipment for children, very close to some wonderful restaurants and only 1 block from one of the major shopping streets.

The largest Park in the city of San Miguel, Parque Juarez is the place for kids to play, couples to stroll, families to gather, and enjoy the beautiful light and air. In February, the whole park is filled with flower and plant vendors, selling everything from herbs to trees, planters and soil. It's a gardener's delight.
