Besides all the graffitied rocks there's such a great view of the ocean and perfect place to watch the sunset. It's right at the end of Paseo del Mar where it's all closed and blocked off. The entrance to the sunken city is literally a hop skip and jump away. You have to hop over the short wall and follow the path down to view the rocks. It's up to you how far you want to go. I was ok looking from the top, but there were many people below on the actual graffiti rocks and i did see lifeguards roaming the area. People were down pretty close to the water

Watch your step! It's a treacherous drop if you're not careful but amazing to see all of the urban street art. This is a graffiti artists paradise. Slabs of foundation cement jutting out of the ground and cliffs are canvases for the creative. If you are brave enough make your way down to the ocean to the tidal pools to watch wild life and ships go by. It's pretty amazing at sunset.

Disregard the "No Trespassing" signs and come on over! Decades ago, there was a huge landslide and the houses around the area left remaining ruins which has long been spray painted all over, creating this very artistic gem of a place! Don't be discouraged by the gates surrounding the premise and just head towards the right side of the fence and 1) crawl under the opening groove of the bars or 2) you can go around the fence.

This is NOT a hike! So don't expect a workout. This is more a gem to explore and relax enjoying the overview of the ocean!
