Enjoy the special events that the Fairmont Princess creates for the Holidays.Santa Clause,Ice Skating,Music,Light Shows and More.Their Mexican restaurant,LA Hacienda,is a 4.5 Star wonderful experience.Take the time to visit the Fairmont while you are in Scottsdale.

San Jose, California

Beautiful resort although the service was rediculously slow every morning for breakfast and Bourbon, the onsite steakhouse, is outrageously priced. This was our third visit for Spring Training but we won't be going back.

One of our guest rooms was charged a $250 smoking fee, although no one smoked in the room.

Known as one of the best resorts in Scottsdale, The Fairmont is worth your time. For starters, it's gorgeous. You'll fall in love with the landscaped grounds here. It's also all lit up during the holidays. Chill at the pretty pool here. Or just head to the spa, known for being one of the best in all of Phoenix. You can't bring any cell phones or electronic devices here, making it a haven for those who get sick of the constant electronic interactions we all have. The only downside of this property is that it's kind of far from Old Town Scottsdale and Central Phoenix, where most of the attractions are.

The Willow Stream Spa in the resort is great for a special day of pampering. Included with any service that you purchase is the use of the spa for the day. Lounge by the pool or cook in the sauna! My wife's favorite place to get a pedicure.

A little too big for me but this Frank Lloyd Wright designed hotel is lovely. Large rooms (the smallest at 500 square feet), lovely interiors, good food, and plenty of outdoor fun. Hard not to thoroughly enjoy even if you need a buggy to get around. Despite the resort setting, the fitness center is a bit disappointing but adequate. The staff here are excellent.

Our all time favorite spa is the Spa at Willow Stream. The range of treatments are wonderful along with a beautiful setting.

What a beautiful property! The grounds are really extensive, with many little hidden spots to sit and read a book, or even just watch the rabbits and quail wandering about. This is a great hotel to get some R&R and just enjoy the springtime Scottsdale weather in classic Southwest architectural surroundings.

After being driven to our building, we entered our room, which consisted of a bedroom and sitting area; big walk-in closet; and huge bathroom with his-and-her sinks, separate tub and shower, and enclosed toilet. After relaxing on the patio for a bit, we explored the property. The pond was beautiful, and we even saw children fishing for crappie with poles and tackle provided by the hotel. Among the many pools on the property, there was even one geared toward children with a pretty impressive waterslide.

We wandered through the lobby, stopping to check out Bourbon Steak, the Michael Mina restaurant. Next we walked past the fire pits and lounge seating of the outdoor Stone Rose bar, owned by Rande Gerber (yes, Mr. Cindy Crawford). As we got closer to our room, we also saw the Willow Stream Spa (gorgeous), newly reopened La Hacienda restaurant, and tennis courts.

Later in our stay, we took advantage of some of the perks of the Fairmont President's Club so we could enjoy the courts. Neither the boyfriend nor I had brought athletic wear, but that wasn't a problem thanks to FPC. For $10 we were able to order Adidas workout wear and have it delivered to our room to keep for the duration of our stay. I received capris, a sleeveless top, a lightweight jacket, tennis shoes, and socks. He got shorts, a long-sleeved t-shirt, tennis shoes, and socks. Thanks to FPC, we also got racquets for free and only had to pay the court fee. There are at least seven courts, and one even features stadium seating if you want to pretend that you're Andy Roddick or Venus Williams and get your friends and family to cheer you on.

Service at the Princess was very friendly and welcoming. The minor low points we experienced had to do with our room being cleaned very late in the day when we wanted to be able to change and relax before heading out to dinner. Also, the pods for our in-room espresso maker were replaced with only decaf! I know--what a nightmare! ;) But it did cause us to get dressed and go in search of a coffee bar on property. There isn't one, but when I explained to the hostess at the casual bistro that we just wanted some coffee to take back to the room, she brought two cups out promptly and said they were on the house when I tried to pay for them.

I would love to come back here for a longer stay, especially since I didn't have time to enjoy any of the many pools, even though the main one is open 24 hours a day. Nor did I get to do any shopping or take a spa treatment (more FPC discounts).

Such an A M A Z I N G Resort! The grounds is beautifully maintained. The service is amazing. The pools are huge!

Huge wood burning fireplace throughout. Spacious rooms. Actually maybe too spacious. A few of did "complain" how far the bathroom was.

The lounge is amazing at night.

Definitely will come back....

I can think of a lot worse ways to spend three nights than lounging around The Fairmont.

Just a 2 hour flight from the Bay Area you feel like you are thousands of miles and a hundred years away from reality. The resort is completely self contained with the TPC golf course and a world class spa right on site. Believe it or not, I skipped on golf and spent a late morning with my wife getting a full body massage. Life is rough isn't it? Now I admit, I am not the "spa kinda guy", so I am not the best judge but I can tell you I did enjoy my time and walked out feeling much better than when I first arrived.

If you are in the mood for some fine dining you can check out a Michael Mina steak house. We did not have the opportunity to check it out, but I did get a glimpse of the fries. YES! Definitely next time.

The rooms are spacious and include a comfortable bed and extra large bathroom. You will not feel claustrophobic here.

The service is stellar but not in your face. We'll without question be back
