Best hotel experiences of my life. I've been all over the world, but this small hotel just minutes from Pike Place Market has to be rated the best. The staff is super friendly and helpful, the rooms are gorgeous and SO comfy, and happy hour is a great way to wind down after exploring the city all day. A cozy fire, a glass of wine, and a chat with fellow travelers... heaven! The restaurant downstairs is gorgeous and worth a peek, but the real luxury is upstairs. Everything is tailored to the guest and has been an absolute pleasure to experience. Seattle is definitely a city to which I'll return, and the Inn at El Gaucho will definitely be my home away from home in the future.

This is a boutique hotel full of 1950's character, from the tufted leather reception desk, to the funky back and white bathroom tile. It's small and private, fun for a couple's weekend getaway or a group of friends on a stag do. You can order room service from the steak restaurant downstairs, which is a bonus.
The location is quiet but convenient for enjoying Belltown's nightlife, as well as the retro cinema opposite. Valet parking is available but costs $36/night.

The Inn at El Gaucho is tucked away in a walk-up above a high-class steakhouse. For such an obscure location, I didn't expect such a charming gem of a hotel as the Inn. The front desk clerk was quick to greet me with a smile and escort me to a room. I loved the '50s-style decor, complete with chic photos of Marlon Brando on the walls of my room. Though there wasn't a fridge or microwave in my room, there was a desk and sitting area. The hotel's best feature, lthough I didn't take advantage of it, is the room service during daylight hours, when you can order anything from the steakhouse below directly to your room. For the service and the character and the near-unbeatable location, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Inn at El Gaucho to just about anyone.

Very boutique and very upscale. Brown leather everywhere, classic Hollywood headshots hanging in the lobby, and a very famous restaurant and movie theatre downstairs. El Gaucho restaurant is known for their steaks.

There aren't a lot of rooms at the Inn at El Gaucho so this is a great place to go if you want a personalized valet / concierge experience.

This is a very hip place to stay in Seattle. While not all the plush of some other choices it is lovely and the location is perfect.

The choice for folks in know about where to go and stay in Seattle. Eat at El Gaucho or go to see a movie at the Big Picture the little movie theater in the basement.
