Walkable from our location and a place not to be missed when visiting. French pastries, wonderful coffee and atmosphere.

If you are coming on the weekends get here early! There is always a line out the door right when they open and for good reason. The twice baked chocolate croissants are the best. Crispy on the outside but soft and chewy on the inside. They are the best!

Wow ‼️wow ‼️wow‼️. Great sandwiches made with just baked bread in the back on equally fresh and light meats, veges and cheeses. Finish it up with all kinds of choices of baked deserts and chocolates that will knock your socks off. Also a coffee barista to top it off. My favorite deli and bakery wrapped in one. And to too it off. All very well priced for your wallet

The baked goods here are no joke! Everything I have tried from here is the real deal! I personally love their twice baked chocolate croissants. I've also tried slices of various cakes and other pastries as well. Come by here for a snack while you spend time at the West Seattle Farmer's Market!

My favorite bakery in Seattle is Bakery Nouveau. It is so popular that oftentimes the line stretches out the door at the West Seattle location. And deservedly so since it is run by a World Cup of Baking Gold Medal Winner.

Bakery Nouveau is famed for their twice baked almond croissants and beautiful desserts like the award winning Phoenix cake. There is also substantial café fare like pizza and sandwiches. Rounding out the selection are breads, French pastries, macarons and chocolates. They also have seasonal items like hot cross buns for Easter and paczki for Fat Tuesday.

Bakery Nouveau is literally the gold medal award bearer of bakeries in Seattle. Worth the trip over to West Seattle to try their creations.

It can get quite busy here on the weekends, but the line moves efficiently and the pastries are definitely worth the wait.

Bakery Nouveau offers a variety of french baked goods, ranging from breads to sandwiches, to sweets. I got the twice baked almond croissant (my usual) the last time I was here and it had just come out of the oven. Imagine soft, warm, heavenly goodness!

Can't wait to come back.

The double baked almond croissant is a must have, but you're pretty much done with calorie intake for the day if you eat one.

This is perhaps the best bakery on the West Coast (sorry Tartine). As such, you'll often find a line out the door. Limited seating inside. They are famous for their twice baked almond croissants. Their sandwiches, pizza by the slice, breads, cakes, cookies, pastries and espresso are all top notch - I challenge you to find better. It can't be done. Best to take your items "to go" unless you are ok with the chaotic environment inside. Not a place to pop open your laptop... they don't even provide wifi. The macarons and the chocolates are so-so. And nothing here is cheap.

Another Bakery Nouveau just opened up in Capitol Hill and I couldn't be happier. Best pastries I've had outside of France. The sandwiches make a great lunch, and you never spend as much as you think you're going to at first.

The twice-baked almond croissants were worth the drive, and the baguette is inexplicably amazing.
