Such an awesome pit stop in the middle of our busy day! Everything we got was absolutely perfect. The mini white chocolate coconut cream pies were def my favorite!

Who would have figured that this small bakery would crank out a mean BACON EGG SANDWICH?

For $5.75, BUY THAT.
The meats, bacon, cheddar and that FRIED EGG!
RATING: 5/5

"FAMOUS" DONUTS - $6
Disappointing. They were donut HOLES. Awww. Had better. Came with vanilla mascarpone and seasonal jam sauces. The sauces couldn't disguise the blandness of the donuts.
RATING: 3/5

FIG BAR COOKIE - $2.50
I liked the idea of it being a gigantic fig newton. But it wasn't very soft.
RATING: 3/5

GINGER SNAP COOKIE - $2.50
Soft and delicious. Ideal.
RATING: 4/5

I realized that most of the bakery items were on the pricey side. Tom Douglas is obviously a name-brand.

So a bakery I would definitely indulge from time to time, but cannot afford to all the time.

RECOMMEND the breakfast menu; especially that Bacon Egg Sandwich.

So the only reason I found out about this place was because a menu was stuck in my bill at Lola and bakeries are my weaknesses!

Of course it being so close to Lola I had to hop across the street after lunch to check it out. This place has its own cafe so to speak but the bakery portion of it is extremely tiny! You will be hard pressed to fit maybe five people in there at once. They also serve some of their hot food in this section to go.

With such a small space, you would be surprised at how much goodness is packed on the tiny shelves of barely any length. They have these amazing "Cupcakes" that are topped with a sweet pumpkin butter cream which are actually CORN BREAD underneath but in cupcake format so it is dense but moist and so delicious. I think my mouth was having a corn bread orgasmic experience! I don't know that I've ever had breads / baked goods that tasted so good with such authentic oomf! Mmmm definitely worth a visit.

TRIPLE COCONUT CREAM PIE. If it was the last thing to touch my lips, I would die happy.
