This park is pretty big. Lots of room to run around, easy trails, large playgrounds, and water access. It's very close to the Fauntleroy ferry so you can watch them dock from the park.

Great park for people with kids. There is a big playground and a zip line. There is also a cement path leading down to the water where you can see the ferry coming and going from Vashon Island.

Lincoln Park is a large park located in West Seattle next to the Vashon Ferry Terminal on Fauntleroy Way. This park feels a lot more secluded compared to the parks in the city center of Seattle.

This park has a little bit of everything. It has playing fields, a kids playground, a beach and picnic areas by the water and further inland. This is a good place to run or walk. Or if you are looking for a nice picture taking spot as you can see across the water to the other side of the Puget Sound.

If you are looking for a large park within Seattle that is a little off the beaten path, I would recommend Lincoln Park.

This is one of the main attractions in this area of West Seattle. Walk or use our bikes to ride along the beach with ocean, mountain, and wild life views as you travel. In December we see a pod of Orcas at least once, but there are Bald Eagles, Dall's Porpoise, Harbor Seals, Sea Lions, as well as all types of sea creatures at low tide.

Amazing pool in the summer, fantastic beach combing, and fun play spaces for kids. Totally dog friendly, awesome picnic sites....it's a really great park.

This is a VERY underutilized park, just about a mile away from our beach bungalow. It's large and usually pretty quiet. There's a walking, running and biking patch along the water and then trails leading up into a forest. It has a very unique feature - a saltwater swimming pool that is right up against the Puget Sound. If the weather's nice, head down here for a dip. The pool itself is quite popular, especially after school's out. The upper part of the park has trails that wind through forest, as well as ball fields and swingsets for the kids. There's also a wading pool for toddlers in the upper part of the park. Tip: If you drive here, do not leave anything in your car (including your trunk) that you value. Repeat, anything.
