A fun hands on science museum for the whole family. We especially loved the intimate little planetarium show which was narrated live by one of the staff. Although the exhibits were current, museum buildings itself was a little dated and could use an upgrade.

This was a bit expensive but a fun and interesting building. Even at peak crowding times on Sunday afternoon it was enjoyable. Lots of hands on stuff for kids.

The Seattle Center is a fun, hands on place to take your children. It changes from time to time, but always feeds the minds of the inquisitive and creative. It is definitely worth the visit although it is fairly expensive.

Super fun for kids! I'm a five year old at heart so I still had a great time, but it would be a great place for younger ones and families.

Pacific Science Center ignites curiosity in every child and fuels a passion for discovery, experimentation, and critical thinking in all of us.
We bring science to life. Our award-winning, interactive programs reach more than 1.1 million people each year – in their communities, classrooms, and on our campus.

I have gone to the pacific science center a handful of times. It's so much fun and with our local museum membership we were able to get in for free! An awesome rainy day adventure for my daughter.

I'm a big fan of science centres and have been to more than my fair share and I can say, without doubt, this is the worst I have ever been to. It feels like all of the exhibits were installed in the 1980s or 1990s and have not been updated since. The place is also remarkably empty with vast open spaces with nothing to see. Annoyingly given the high price of entry, you have to pay again to experience some of the exhibits. Kids will enjoy it but everybody else, steer clear.

I've caught a few movies here and went to an exhibit on Pompeii. The regular Science Center seems dated and worn out but none the less interesting. It more geared for kids but can be enjoyed by adults as well.

Pacific Science Center combines education and entertainment in a variety of events and installations great for sparking imagination and wonder in kids and adults alike. The Science Center itself features a series of rotating and permanent exhibits in an interactive museum designed to teach people about science from how sound travels through the air all the way to the funny and gross facts about poop.
The Pacific Science Center also shows weekly laser shows set to classic albums like Pink Floyd's The Wall to more modern music from Daft Punk and Lady Gaga. The shows are around an hour long and in addition to their weekly shows, there are special events which bring new music and laser displays.
Another large draw for the Pacific Science Center is their huge IMAX theater which will show current films and special IMAX releases of visual documentaries on dinosaurs, the ocean and space. This is one of my favorite theaters in Seattle for sound and movie quality but it doesn't have hardly any concessions.

Ideal for kids because there is a lot to learn and the exhibits are pretty neat. They have a butterfly garden, insect area, dinosaur information and a lot more. They have an IMAX theater too for laser shows or special viewings of films and documentaries.
