You can't miss the Space Needle when in Seattle! I actually love looking at it when I fly in to Seattle. Such an iconic landmark of the city. The area around it is also very charming to walk around.

You get extremely good view from the top. Although part of it is inaccessible due to renovation , you will still be happy to experience the spectacular view of Seattle downtown as well as waterfront.

The Space Needle is one of those must-see things in Seattle. I wouldn’t spend a whole day on it, but you should definitely go check it out.

It's a great sight to see all of Seattle from the top of this tower. A 365 degree view from the top, it looks very cool to come both during the day and during the night.

It was a wonderful experience going to Space Needle which is an observation tower. There is an entry ticket for approximately $20 which you can save by buying a City pass. So once you enter they will click a free photo of family and will email you at your ID. You can check at screens at top floor for same. Then you head towards elevator to go at the top . Once you reach there comes the beauty .. a picture perfect view of Seattle. You can almost observe almost all sight seeing places to Seattle from obeservatory . You can enjoy dinner . We went at night time it was beautiful. They also operate during morning hours. Loved it !

It was under construction when I went which was unfortunate but the view of Seattle was still spectacular. If you can get as lucky with the weather as I was then the space needle is always worth seeing at least once. It was such a clear day that we had a breathtaking view of Mount Rainier poking out above the clouds behind the Seattle skyscrapers

Space Needle is an iconic Seattle observatory. It has a restaurant at the observatory level. If you get lunch/dinner at the restaurant, the sightseeing from the observatory is free! If not, you end up paying to visit the observatory for some breathtaking views.

It was a beautiful view but the construction going on means a lot of the view is blocked. Mid day on a Saturday was very crowded and it was hard to get in and get good photos of the skyline.

I’m glad I had a chance to make the trek up to the space needle. Although it was cold out, it was a fairly nice and sunny day with a few clouds so we could see the Seattle skyline and moutains in the distance. Only half of the desk was open as the other half was under construction. Staff told us that they were working on installing clear glass on the walls so visitors could have more views.

The Space Needle is an observation tower in Seattle, Washington, a landmark of the Pacific Northwest, and an icon of Seattle. It was built in the Seattle Center for the 1962 World's Fair, which drew over 2.3 million visitors, when nearly 20,000 people a day used its elevators. Once the tallest structure west of the Mississippi River,[7] it is 605 ft (184 m) high, 138 ft (42 m) wide, and weighs 9,550 tons. It is built to withstand winds of up to 200 miles per hour (89 m/s) and earthquakes of up to 9.1 magnitude,[8] as strong as the 1700 Cascadia earthquake. It also has 25 lightning rods. It has an observation deck at 520 ft (160 m) and the rotating SkyCity restaurant at 500 ft (150 m).[7] The downtown Seattle skyline, as well as the Olympic and Cascade Mountains, Mount Rainier, Mount Baker, Elliott Bay and surrounding islands can be viewed from the top of the Needle. Photographs of the Seattle skyline often show the Space Needle prominently, above skyscrapers and Mount Rainier.

The best views in the city, and a major Seattle landmark. If you have a reservation for the restaurant you can go up for free.

Of all things touristy to do, the space needle is a must visit. I actually don't think you really need to pay a visit and ride on top to see the 360 view of Seattle. If you dont' want to spend the admission money, I totally understand. This can totally be viewed outside for free. You're not missing out from much.

Pay a visit, take a nice picture, chill by the park side and enjoy a nice picnic.

This iconic landmark has a little known side that brings my family back year after year.... space Santa. He is a unique and fun twist on Santa in a rocket sleigh and all. There are family coupons to be found in local coffee shops. The treasure of Santa pics along with breathtaking views in every direction brings my family back as a yearly tradition.
