A little beach right next to the Amtrak! I always walk down here after Pizza Port or Station sushi. Nice overlook for wheelchairs / sand averse people, or walk in the water.

The perfect beach for when you want to get away from the crowd. Really beautiful views, clean and peaceful. At first, you park on the street in the residential and the entrances are sort of tucked away. It's easy to miss them bc there's just a sign and a path that leads to the steps down to the beach.

The best beach to go to if you're trying to get away from the crowd. Beautiful, peaceful beach. Entrances begin on the street. When you walk down the steps, it opens up out from the cliffs. Very clean too!

This is one of my favorite beach towns in San Diego. It is quaint and has a private feel to it. I like that you feel at peace here and not have as many tourists around. Parking can be a pain to find though if you are heading to the beach. This is also close to Encinitas. Most of the the people here are young in Solana Beach.

Great place to visit and great place to live. Best way to get there from most places in California is to take the Amtrak Pacific Surfliner train. From the Solana Beach stop you can walk to just about anywhere in the town.

Carruth Cellars
A small winery set off the street in Solana Beach Ca. The atmosphere was cozy and minimal

Carruth Cellars in Solana Beach takes a bit to find, being hidden up a long driveway behind a Coles.
The smell of fermenting wines, for me, takes a bit getting used to.
Had it not been for a Gogobot event, I would most likely not visit again. Of course, I don't drink alcohol, sooooo.

A great area to learn to surf, calm waves and long stretched of beach. The town itself is very health conscious and active and also full of great boutiques and spas.

Solana Beach is perfect. It's a nice little peaceful town on the Southern California coast. And everything moves a little bit slower here. The people are kind and welcoming. You just feel good being here.
