Sudan is the largest country in Africa and has had enough political instability to keep it in the news for all the wrong reasons. There are parts of the country that are definitely in the no-go zone but for the intrepid traveller, there are adventures to be found. The Sudanese people are easily the most welcoming of any nation in the African continent and the vast desert scenery is breathtaking.
