This woman is badass! In one hand she holds a bowl of wine, a welcoming gesture, while the other is wielding a sword, suggesting don't get too comfortable or out of line. When you're in Tbilisi, look up know that she has your back!

The Soviet monument dedicated to the motherland. Symbolical figure of Mother of Georgians.
Best visible from the downtown. Once you go up to the mountain edge, where it stands, there won't be a good perspective to see it completely

When you are wandering the streets of Tbilisi and you look up, Mother Georgia is there looking over you. This is one of my favourite landmarks in this beautiful city because of what she represents. On a walk along the old fortress wall you can get good pictures of Mother Georgia in all her grandeur.

Set on the top of Sololaki Hill, the statue of Mother Georgia looks out over all of Tbilisi. She's a symbol of the nation, is it's guardian and is one of the most beloved landmarks in the country. She can be seen from pretty much anywhere in Tbilisi, but head up Sololaki Hill and see her up close to get a sense of just how massive she is.

This huge statute you can see form all city. Georgian people says that in one hand she holds sword in position, which shows to enemies she will protect the country and in second hand she holds wine for all Georgian friends

This statue of Mother Georgia is a bit of an eye sore but there are great views from her perch. A short walk along the ridge from Narikala Fortress.
