Nice region of France which is not on most North American's travel radar. There are beach towns lining the coast here, the tallest sand dunes in all of Europe and the splendid little port city of La Rochelle. Don't forget Bordeaux, the wine capital of the world.

I simply love the french Atlantic coast, it's kind of wild, but still warm and calm enough to swim and relax.
