Always order the plato! It's a sampler of the day's entrees, and every bite is delicious.

The best restaurant in the world, per my opinion. Amazing food, colorful plates, beautiful atmosphere, and fun downtown location. For a cheaper experience their sister restaurant The Little One, is located next to downtown library. Beware it is cash only and loud music, it's the best.

Most people I know love this place. They don't have a menu and the options change everyday and are written on a big chalkboard. I personally don't like the style of Mexican food they serve but if you like trying new things its a good option.

Cafe Poca Cosa is one of my favorite restaurants in Tucson. Susan has maintained high standard of food preparation and presentation with fresh ingredients for many years. Her fresh juices are incredibly inventive and delicious. A must in my book. I know of no other restaurant that makes Mexican food so healthy and delicious. Sabrosa!

One of the best good experiences I've had, the menu is always different with a rotation of staples. Meat, fish, chicken and vegan options all so good to eat. Local great please eat here. I love the tamale pie and the chicken mole.

So... there are two of these. The "little" Cafe Poca Cosa and it's more famous sister restaurant Cafe Poca Cosa. They both have awesome food. The "little" cafe is only open for breakfast and lunch Monday-Friday and is a fast-paced brashy loud place that is entertaining, quick, and leaves you feeling like you just tasted a bit of local flavor. The larger one has won many awards, has terrific food, is a bit more formal (in a Tucson casual kind of way!) and is open for lunch, dinner and on weekends. This is truly a family place, as the three sisters and Dad are there to see you have a great time. I highly recommend the Chef's choice entree!

A good, solid, restaurant that explores the many flavors of Mexico in a mainstream fashion. This isn't your local cantina, however. The menu changes daily and is loaded with creativity.

Gourmet Mexican Food. Café Poca Cosa grew from a small restaurant into a large restaurant although the original is near the new location. Cafe Poca Cosa, chef/owner Suzana Davila has placed her imaginative Mexican cuisine within the lively confines of a truly upscale, yet casual, urban bistro setting.

A unique take on mexican cuisine - order the 'plato' and let the chef surprise you.

Menu changes daily. It's a little pricey - especially for Tucson - so I'd recommend going for lunch - where you'll still spend $15-$20 per person. Totally worth it. The food is absolutely fabulous and service has always been great!

One of my favorite southwestern restaurants in the world. Everything made fresh with natural ingredients and unique recipes. Great Margarita's too! I like the ambience, very colorful!

Who new Tuscon had a trendy downtown Mexican place?
This restaurant has a nice clean, modern art atmoshere, with friendly people who look clean and polished in a southwestern way.
Food is very good, with some pleasant and unusual refinements to standard Mexican faire, and usually they have several well thought out and tantalizing specials for the day chosen by the Chef/owner. There is patio seating as well as the dining room and bar. It is a very nice place to relax, even for the jaded California types.
