The most distinctive addition to the Turin skyline also happens to house the highest museum in the world, The National Cinema Museum of Italy. The building actually began life as a synagogue and whilst it may look old, the building was only created in 1889, but still offers some of the best views of the Turin skyline in the city.

I was not looking forward to this museum since I thought it would only be about Italian films but I was wrong. They put a lot of work into the museum. It is interactive and fun.

This is the symbol of Turin and I love it very much!! It is high 168 metres and inside you can find the museum of cinema. You can reach a roof terrace at 85 metres of high with a panoramic elevator or stairs; there you have a 360 degree view of Turin. I prefer to take the elevator, because, while it up to the roof, you can see through the glass of walls the different floors of the museum of cinema.
The museum is beautifull too; in the different floors of the museum there are the different period of the story of the cinema. It is very interesting!!!! It is possible to visit also in the night!!

Definitely buy the joint ticket for access to the Mole and the museum. The Mole is the huge tower. You take an elevator to the top and are treated to an amazing 360 degree view of the city! Both are great sights! When the weather is too windy, they won't let anyone go to the top, so don't bother going if the weather is poor.

This large building is a must-see on any trip to Turin. It houses the Museo del Cinema and also has an observation deck at the top for some excellent views of Turin and the countryside (on less foggy/cloudy days).

You have to visit it, especially if the weather is clear, the view over the city is great and it is also impressive inside. The museum of the cinema too is worth a visit.

Oh, love it. Under the Mole, there is the museum of cinema, a funny museum that shows you the history of the cinema. At the end of the trip, there is a elevator that bring you on the top of the Mole; the funny thing is that the elevator is not connected to a wall, but is in the centre of the tower Mole and is completely of glass, so you can see everything under you.

The Mole Antonelliana is a major landmark building in town, a building of monumental proportions. Construction began in 1863, soon after Italian unification, and was completed in 1889, after the architect's death. Originally conceived
as a synagogue, it now houses the Museo Nazionale del Cinema, and is the tallest museum in the world.

This huge dome is basically the emblem of Turin. It's a nice thing to go up to the top and to see the city spread below you. Bellissimo!
