Live music and tons of bright lights and good eats. Families will enjoy walking around, dancing to the music, get wet in the dancing fountain or just chill and enjoy coffee.

Located directly outside of Universal Studios Hollywood, you don't need a ticket to come here (but parking is $25). There are a number of fun stores and restaurants here, including things like a Voodoo doughnut from Portland. The City Walk is open later than the theme park, so it's best to hit this up after you've spent the day at the park.

Universal City Walk might seem really touristy, but it is a solid destination for food and entertainment for both visitors and locals.

This is the best obvious but hidden secret in Universal City. There are so many food options and shopping stores, you often don't appreciate how much space there is because it's technically a hard place to reach. It's well worth the trip though since it's like your own private shopping mall that way.

Catch a movie , do some shopping or make dinner plans at city walk. Lots of dining options from fast food, to seated dining, and late night hang outs. During the summer there are free concerts and shows on the stage. parking can be pricey, but the movie theater will reimburse you some of it or you can take a free shuttle up. They're adding new places constantly.

Citywalk is such a tourist place, but I still enjoy the energy especially at night were the city lights really light up your view of the city. There are tons of restaurants, some novelty shops and clothing stores. They also have a couple of bars and a lounge. The biggest down fall is that parking is $17.

Only place where you can watch a movie, grab a cocktail, listen to Mariachis, eat a burger, get some Panda Express, watch Samba dancing Brazilian girls, ride a bull, go sky diving, bowl, shop, and much more! All in one place!

A mall by any other name is still a mall. For some it's a place to hangout. For others it's a place to walk through to get to the studio tours. For me, it's like Hollywood Boulevard - to be avoided if at all possible.

I like this area. Many things to do if you don't want to go inside Universal Studios, but yes there will be a parking fee, which is pretty expensive.

There are shops and restaurants here. Reminds me of Downtown Disney, but with a pricey parking tag. Still, You will have a good time here.

Citywalk is Downtown Disney's trashy kid sister, and that's ok. There are a lot of neon lights, so you know it's a cool place.

Universal City walk is a nice place to spend a day with friends or for families with kids. Available to you is an AMC theater, Bowling and Arcade games at Jillians, Indoor flying experience, lots of restaurants for any budget the food court if you want something quick and cheap and if your looking to sit down and rest after a long day of walking there are also restaurants that provide a more relaxing dining experience. "Samba" has samba dancers that shake their tail feathers every hour while you eat and enjoy the show and if you're looking to burn the calories from that big meal just walk around and do a little shopping at one of the many shops.

During the summer and other days as well they have free outdoor concerts near the movie theater.
