An impressive collection of futuristic buildings and structures, even if you don't go inside and explore their contents, although it would mean missing cool interactive science exhibits and otherworldly green and blue spaces. I'd also recommend taking in a show at El Palau de les Arts Reina Sofia, especially since ticket prices to most shows start low.

City of Arts and Sciences is located within Turin Gardens and is a huge complex of futuristic-looking buildings. It is really quite astonishing to see the white structures with the blue water below. The buildings consist of the Hemisfèric (Imax), Science Museum, Oceanogràfic (aquarium), Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía (Palace of Arts), Umbracle (garden esplanade), and Àgora (event space).

A pleasant walk away from the traffic which takes you between a few nice attractions and leads into Jardín del Turia.

Honestly, I thought I was on the set of a sci-fi movie. Where's JJ Abrams when you need him? A stunning piece of architecture that seems at odds with it's more mundane surroundings. Stunning, nonetheless!

The icon of Valencia city. The huge complex comprises of a science museum, aquarium and IMAX theatre. A fun complex to explore and have you taking photos all day to capture its unique building structure and landscape. And I had random fun trying walking on water inside the bubble balloon! Tickets are available at the counter or at the tourist office at the station. Discount tickets for multiple entry to all three or two of the buildings.

This is an amazing complex by one of Valencia's greatest architects Santiago Calatrava. It offers a contrasting view of the city. Not too far from this contemporary city you will find the Valencian Historic District. You can walk along the river park either to the Downtown area or to the beach. I highly recommend this place.

Wow! what a fantastic place it is! Built in 1996 the project had been designed by the famous architect Santiago Calatrava. The ensemble is really scenic and offers many attractions: a museum of art, a museum of science, a fantastic aquarium and other spots. It is a must in town.

The museum is certainly the best in Spain for what it does, and possibly even one of the best science museums in the world. It goes over the functions of the human body, and the material does not insult an educated person's intelligence. The aquarium is also surprisingly good.
