We found this place just by driving by, but had a good feeling from the outside. The cashew/avocado enchilada was delicious, the salads were ample with fresh tasting dressing, the peas paneer lunch special was tasty and the coconut balls were yummy! Great menu, hard to choose. We had little wait for two on a weekday, and an inside comfy booth overlooking the outdoor patio. As one of the two female bathroom stalls was "very out of order", I'd say that such a 24-hour restaurant should reinvest in some new plumbing and bathroom decor. Great value!

Open all day and everyday, yes, seriously The Naam is always open. Of course, it is so much more than that. The restaurant itself one of the oldest Vegetarian restaurants in Vancouver. Eat there and you'll see why. The food is 100% vegetarian (some vegan dishes) and 100% delicious. The Naam is loved not only for it's food, but also for it's friendly staff and their appreciation of art. The restaurant has a rotation of artists on display each month as well as musicians scheduled to play nightly. It does get quite busy though, and reservations are not an option so make sure you coem before your tummy rumbles because you might have to wait for a bit.

A haven for late night vegetarians, this 24 hour restaurant in Vancouver’s Kitsilano neighbourhood is an institution for those who prefer greens instead of grease after a night out on the town. But that’s not the only time to gorge yourself on their wholesome eats. Both students and families can be found enjoying the Naam’s vegetarian specialties during lunch and dinner rushes. Their orient-inspired sauces and salad dressings are the stuff of legends, so be sure to purchase a bottle on your way out.

To fortify yourself for yoga, go to The Naam. It’s Vancouver’s oldest natural foods restaurant. It is open 24 hours a day, 364 days a year (closed on Christmas Day). I love their herbal teas, especially their High C health blend. Every day there is a different soup and after 5 p.m. a featured curry bowl and chef’s special. If you’d like something sweet, try Noh pie, which is sugar-free, dairy-free, and wheat-free, but not flavor-free. It is truly delicious! Be aware that The Naam often has long line- ups and slow service, but the food is worth the wait!

Really great place for people who want veggie food; lots of variety in terms of cuisines and ingredients. However the desserts are a bit odd in flavour, since they aren't made from the regular ingredients.
It's overall a great place to get some good food, and it's being open 24 hours is a big plus!

Naam is a vegan restaurant. There's not just salads or a couple of main courses but they even have desserts that are vegan. I didn't enjoy the vegan dessert too much, but I did enjoy the salads they had there.

As a diabetic vegetarian, I did not think I would have an issue in finding foods for my needs. The host who I was staying with suggested to me this vegan friendly restaurant.
I guess it is good, because when I got there, there was a line. I was speaking to some locals from the college and joined them for a meal.
Anything with miso gravy is worth getting, and so I took their advice and got the dragon bowl. It was good. There have local brews on tap as well. The place was worth the wait in line. Tastier than some of the vegan restaurants I have had in SF.

Alright - so the Naam is massively hyped and it may or may not deserve it. The food is incredibly delicious but my experience made me believe it is not worth it. First of all, there were 7 people in my party which is way too many for this place - the only people who got in quick were parties of 2. We had to wait for nearly an hour and only then got split up into two tables and seated. It was meant to be a reunion among friends from my study abroad experience in New Zealand, but we had none of that. The service was terrible. Mind you, I'm very understanding about slow service in a hectic place, but we couldn't even get the waitress' attention for more water. It was 2 hours or more from the time we got there that we got our food. I had the Santa Fe Enchilada. It was delicious, and the portion sizes are huge. However, I was also double charged - the bill was supposed to be split but I was charged for the whole thing, while my friend payed her portion in cash. Overall, I was not that pleased. I wouldn't go again on a weekend, anyway, and maybe not at all.
