Such a fun spot! Good wine, beer, and pizza plus giant chess, archery, and other fun games.

Wild on Waiheke is a very unique winery. It doesn't have the views of some of the other wineries in the area, so in exchange they give you a good time! So many games, from giant sized chess, to archery! The food was good and so was the wine.

A unique place on the island of Waiheke with a vineyard, brewery, restaurant, and fun activities to keep little ones entertained (archery, clay bird shooting, giant chess, etc.). At the restaurant, grab a bite to eat or try a few tastings of Wild Estate wine or beer for only a couple dollars. I have to admit, the gingerbeer was most refreshing!

Try the locally brewed beer, olive oils and other food products. Plus enjoy giant chess, archery and other outdoor activities.

Wild on Waiheke is a fun cafe/winery restaurant. We had lunch on a sunny afternoon amongst the vines. There are so many activities to do such as playing giant chessboard, archery, volleyball, baci. I had a craving for oysters so finally tasted genuine NZ oysters and gourmet pizza paired with a Pinot and a rose. Wild on Waiheke also has its own wine tasting paddles, however the tastings costs $2 per taste, they also sell their own culinary produce. To get to Wild on Waiheke is super easy. First, book a return ferry ticket to Waiheke Island from Fullers website, then from Auckland harbor ferry terminal, catch the ferry. Then the Island has a hop on hop off bus which costs $9 for the whole day, which conveniently stops at the major attractions every hour or so.
