Walnut Creek

Weather

The San Francisco East Bay covers a lot of ground, from the buzzing cities of Berkeley and Oakland to the vineyards of Livermore. As much as the scenery changes, so too does the weather. On the coast, the ... Read more
weather is mild year round, with daytime highs ranging from the 50s (10-15C) in the winter to the 70s (21-26C) in the summer. Inland, winters are mild but the summers can get very hot, often topping 90F (32C). Like all of the Bay Area, rain is extremely rare during the summer, but you should bring a jacket no matter when you travel -- nights in Northern California are cool year-round.

Local from Livermore

For those who love shopping mixed with fine dining and fresh air. Downtown Walnut Creek offers a wide variety of unique dining experiences from basics to bombliscious, yes the best made up word ever!

Walkers can enjoy the endless shops with our feeling cluttered in a mall setting. Eith so many eating options your dining experience is completely customizable. Enjoy rooftop dining at the rooftop, or small plate delictable bites from Va De Vi. Walnut Creek Yacht Club and Scotts Seafood offers high end and or casual fresh seafood dining with authentic seafood dishes. Large families can enjoy larger setting restaurants such as Cheese Cake Factory or small buzzing cuisine such as Broderick’s.

The options are endless and all you need are your empty bellies and walking legs!

"the" city away from "the city (SF)". Quiet but not too much, friendly, lots of restaurants and shooing areas with enough parking (and the occasion tourists bus).
