Platter which includes housemade Grapeleaf Dolmas, tasty Hummus, Tabouli and Eggplant Puree accompanied by our Flat Bread from the wood-burning oven. Or, perhaps start with the succulent Sea Scallops which are grilled with a touch of Saffron and fresh lemon.

Specializing in Mediterranean food, including Greek, Italian and Spanish dishes with moderate prices, this is a nice little restaurant with comfortable ambiance and great service.

Bottlomless baskets of warm flat bread is served immediately, with oil and balsamic vinegar to dip. The appetizers include a sampler platter of Greek Dolmas, Tabouli, Humus, and Kalamata Olives, and a half dozen others. All appetizers are under $10.

The salads, all under $9 include selections such as Caesar with Anchovies, Greek with Feta, and Italian Insalata Caprese with Mozzarella, chopped Basil and Tomatoes.

Entrees, all between $12 - $17 include several Kabobs, and other dishes like Spanish Seafood Paella. There are about 10 pasta offerings, including Spaghettini in spicy Marinara with Mussels , Angel Hair Pasta, and Salmon Linguini.

I tried the Insalata Caprese, which was served on a bed of spring greens and four tomato slices topped with milk white mozzarella and basil. Specials that night included the Seafood specials of Sea Bass or Salmon. Also offerred, which I tried was the special Seafood Kabob, which was Sea Bass, Salmon, Shrimp amd Scallops served with garlic mash potatoes and Italian vegetables.

They have about 10 white and 15 red wines to choose from, and beers. The reds were almost exclusively Carbernets and Merlots, most from California. For whites, there were a couple of Italians, including Valpolcella mixed in the local labels. Most wines were in the $18 - $25 per bottle.

Service was attentive and with a smile. Parking is available in the Vodafone building garage and they do validate. When the weatther is nice, they have an outdoor tent room with about 8 tables.

This is a nice choice in downtown Walnut Creek on Oak, near Treat Blvd and Geary, next to the Pleasant Hill Bart station and Highway 680.
