This is a nice seaside resort on the Baltic. We enjoyed the easy walk from the port into the town. Large beach, lots of restaurants and shops ring the area. Great train station right next to the port. We were there during a terrific festival.

The "twin cities" of Warnemünde and Rostock are the perfect complements and guaranty a unique experience - centuries of history, half a century of Eastern bloc domination and decades of jubilant renaissance. It's all there - the market square, cathedral and commercial surge of Rostock and the beach-front recreational joie de vivre of Warnemünde.

This amazing village by the sea has everything for a fantastic beach vacation; super restaurants, pubs, bars, cafes, and a fantastically beautiful beach which allows nude sunbathing and bon fires at night. There is so much on offer in this little town you may never want to leave it to explore the other amazing towns in the area. This is also a sailors paradise! This is definitely the German riviera!
