The most talked about dessert bar in New York finally came to Los Angeles and it is bringing all of it's delicious treats. Milk Bar is located off Melrose and La Brea: offering Rainbow Cake, truffle cake, cereal milk ice cream, crack pie and an assortment of incredible cookies. The Crack pie, made of pretty much butter and sugar, is really something you cannot stop eating. So rich and indulgent, it makes a statement at any event. They also have cooking classes. This place is so addicting that you will want to come back every day!

Melrose is a fun few blocks with everything you can imagine. Restaurants, clothing shops, art and lots more. Go out for a stroll down Melrose and you'll definitely see something to catch your eye!
Don't forget to take some pictures with the famous angel wings.

Restoration Hardware. Visit the top outdoor deck and have a coffee and play ping pong. Relaxing and great view of the Hollywood Hills

The days of Melrose being “the place” to shop have gone the way of Andrew Shue (who? exactly), but like most Angelenos, the famous Hollywood block has remade itself. Millennials come here now to check out some of the best street art LA has to offer... and take selfies of course. The nature of street art is to constantly evolve and eventually disappear, so you never know which global artist’s work you’re going to see along the stretch from La Brea to Robertson, but past artists have included Banksy, Retna and Shepherd Fairey.

Melrose Avenue is like Fifth Avenue in NYC. It's where you come to shop until you literally drop. It has everything from the big labels as well as smaller boutiques.

Walking down the melrose block is an experience itself with all the hip boutiques and eateries that decorate this strip.

When I think of LA, hanging around Melrose Ave is a must.

I really love shopping on Melrose. It makes me feel at home in the less pretentious and less glamour or high-fashion designer-filled stores. It is full of independent boutiques and designers with great style and unique items. Great jewelry finds and affordable shoes!

Melrose Ave is an awesome street of shopping and dining. You'll see some pretty interesting shops here like World of Leggings, vampire-ish clothing, lots of tattoo parlors, and lingerie.

Of course there's the normal-esque but still unique stores too for clothing. And if you're a guy, stores that sell Creative Recreation shoes.

There's also JapanLA, a cute store that specializes in pop culture items from Japan and they often have parties.

I love walking here because of photo opps and sale clothing.

There are sometimes hidden artwork on the walls that are fun to find!

You'll know you're at the end of the Melrose shopping strip when you reach the high school. On Sundays the high school has a flea market too so it's a full day of shopping!

In the ‘80s, this shopping district was the perfect place to pick up a Debbie Gibson hat or a telephone shaped like lips - and in fact, it was a famed center for Southern California new wave and punk fashion. Now it’s your best bet for finding stripper heels, studded belts, edgy everyday wear, and stylishly eccentric jewelry - much of it sold by independent retailers. In atmosphere, style, and price, Melrose is like the gritty, rebellious, rock’n’roll sibling of Rodeo Drive.

Melrose reminds me of everything cool in the 80's and 90's. It still has the indie shops and tons of vintage ware. One of the few places you can eat, get a tattoo, buy platform boots ( KISS style) and get a shave all within 100 feet. With all of the colorful getups, everyday is a parade on Melrose!

Melrose Ave is famous for it's cool clothing boutiques and vintage clothing shops. I would suggest parking your car and walking the strip up and back again. Maybe have lunch at one of the cool places to eat Johnny Rocket's is on Melrose, as well as Le Pain Quotidien.
