I’ve been to Albany many times over the years and it’s beaches, history and landscape never ceases to amaze me.
This is a small town walkable from the port area. We got internet at the local library. Cute restaurants and stores on York Street. Visited a local church and the new entertainment center.
Albany is a port town in the southern part of Western Australia and is one of the oldest places in the state. Just over 30,000 people live here, and it’s a picturesque place to visit with all the homes dotted over a valley that overlooks the ocean. The nearby beaches are also spectacular, although during many months of the year it’s too cold to swim. Nonetheless, it’s an interesting place to visit – and there’s also an abundance of wineries nearby you can cosy up in if the weather turns.
Albany is a beautiful little town situated in a gorgeous South Coast location.
