College town and the place where you stop for the night when you're passing through Southern Alberta. Other than hitting the local Tim Hortons, there's really not much else to see here, accept the Nikka Yuko Japanese Garden, which is fine, but nothing special.
Lethbridge is a small city in southern Alberta very close to the US border. It offers much the same Wild West heritage celebrations as the Calgary Stampede but on a much smaller scale. The terrain is prairie, not foothills, and thus the summers are much warmer. The coulees, which lead down to the Oldman River, which winds its way through the city, is one of the most distinctive features.
Windy as... Well just very windy. But oh the sunsets.
