A wonderful city with great historical buildings and plenty of family activities. The big draw back here is the lack of evening entertainment. The city seems to go to sleep very early.

First time visiting Ottawa! People are so friendly here. Visiting the art gallery downtown and it was amazing!

As Canada's national capital, Ottawa enjoys a lot of activities and amenities for a small city. The smaller size also makes it easy to get around.

As a whole, Ottawa is not exciting. But as a government city, it's not supposed to be. Come here for the parliament, Canadian history, and business, and to practice your French -- if you want true excitement, head to Toronto. I was visiting for a conference myself, and noticed the lack of life during my time there. I would come back though.
