La Ceiba sits along the northern coast of Honduras. Founded in 1877, this port city was nicknamed both the "Eco-Tourism Capital of Honduras" and the "Entertainment Capital of Honduras." Beaches, ferries to neighboring islands, an active night scene and natural attractions make La Ceiba a hot destination.
It's warm, loving and you find random delicious eats all over town. The night life is super fun and going to soccer games is part of the local culture. Can't go wrong with La Ceiba. It's got many eco tourism spots. Cayos Cochinos, and Pico Bonito being two of them.

This is the stop over city on the way to Roatan or Utila Honduras or on the way back from. Go whitewater rafting. You'll love it!
