This entire town is a tourist trap and devoid of nightlife. Don't go in September. Either go in the heart of summer or the dead of winter. Stay in the town center, if you can't don't bother. It rained every single day I was here, so I chickened out on camping because I didn't want a wet tent in my backpack for the rest of my trip. Despite the constant rain this is one of the cutest towns I have ever seen. Loved the architecture! I can't imagine how beautiful this place can be after a fresh snow while riding on horseback.
Well out of the way and well worth going out of that way. I'm glad I stumbled upon this charming small mining town. Seeing people live in the old straw-topped houses next to the metal works is as close to time travel as it gets.
