Tromso was my last destination of my solo trip and I absolutely enjoyed this city. I wish i had more time at this place. I enjoyed cycling and exploring this city during summer. Mt. Storsteinen is a must visit.

A pleasant town on the far northern coast of Norway, the best way to arrive here is on the coastal Hurtigruten voyage. There are a few sights here such as the Arctic Cathedral as well as some shops and restaurants but nothing to keep you more than a day or two.

This town has more hair salons that can possibly be supported by a population this small. The tunnels have roundabouts! They play American football here!? Cross country skiing is the national pastime. I was there when the major street in town had booths for all the different clubs and societies in town. It felt like my first day in university. The university keeps the population very young here. If going to the airport the public bus costs 35 NOK and the flybussen is 90 one way and 120 round trip. If you're in a group of three or more taking a cab is cheaper than the flybussen.

Beautiful scenery and quaint village make Tromso a charming place to visit in northern Norway. It's a popular spot to take off for fjord cruises. Whether skiing, sailing, hiking or something else; there's plenty for active individuals.
