Chitral, one of the remote corners of Pakistan which cut off from the rest of the world during the time of winters due to heavy snow over the Lawari Pass. The plan of the Lawari tunnel and its fabrication is still a question marks and is usually shutdown during the winters too. Chitral is a home to one of the world's well kept cultures of Kalash and Wakhi people. The road passes beside the Chitral town and takes you to the beautiful mountain scenery until you reach Booni, when you touch Mastuj River coming from Broghil Valley.. the river widens here give way to spectacular panoramic view of the Booni tops.
