Really loved Belgrade, hope to visit the whole Serbia once more. Went there with my friend. We were amazed of how many nice and cheerful people are in there, the historical views and nation's respect to country's past. Also, food there is very very tasty!
Awesome city - culture history architecture museums restaurants - good bus and tram system - Nikola Tesla museum a must see - also St Sava church - largest Orthodox Church in the world - beautiful - visit Skadarlija for traditional restaurants great food and live music - £12- 20 per head - also visit Kalemegdan fortress on the banks of the Danube and Sava rivers there is a lovely restaurant on the terrace serving the best gibanica (cheese pie) Good shopping too and the airport named after Nikola Tesla is very efficient and easy to navigate - we will be back soon
I spent 3 days in Belgrade. That city has a lot to offer, make sure you spent here Friday or Saturday, as Belgrade has a lot of clubs and bars that you don't want to miss. The cheapest city out of my whole trip, great food, awesome people and I felt safe here at all times. I stayed in a hostel and couch-surfed as well.
