Cape Town was amazing! You’re in a large city surrounded by ocean, mountains, and vineyards! The biggest downside is the crime. We had no problems but you must always be aware of your surroundings

Visited on the return leg from Europe, stayed a week in a friend home and meet lots of locals. It was a confusing experience on a grass roots level with locals venting their local domestic issues... on the tourism aspect ..scooted around to 10 places in the main city area ... and will post them soon

Ah Cape Town. It's kind of the gem of South Africa, isn't it? Anyone who knows me knows that, unlike the majority of Port Elizabethans, I have absolutely no desire whatsoever to move to Cape Town, but it is definitely one of my favourite places in South Africa to visit. Cape Town is beautiful, vibrant, multicultural, and there is way more wine than any wine lover could ever cope with. And of course there is a ton to do. You don't even have to look for something to do. You'll find it without trying.
