Beautiful cozy warm little city, capital of Galicia, the Celtic land. It’s known as the culmination of the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage route, and the alleged burial site of the Biblical apostle St. James. Very historic university and if you like food and architecture, this is your city. An hour away from A Coruña and Vigo, worth a visit.
One of the most beautiful cities in Spain. With all the charm of the celtic culture, including bagpipes, lots of rain and extremely good (and cheap) seafood! Don't forget the cathedral!
Santiago de Compostela, world's heritage town, destination of the old pilgrimage way to Sat James's tomb (Camino de Santiago, is the capital of Galicia. 1.5 hours drive from Cedeira
You don't have to be religious to appreciate santiago de Compostela, the end of the Way of St John pilgrim trail. It's a really great short visit - and being in Galicia the seafood tapas is great. Stay in the grand parador opposite the big cathedral (it's surprisingly not that expensive) and you'll be right in the middle of things. Take a walk on a bit of the Way - it's very pretty - and if you can do up on to the cathedral roof (ask if they are doing a tour at the info desk) as it's a lovely experience.
