Kalmar sits in the southeastern part of Sweden, set in a series of islands. The charming town houses a 17th-century historic center and connects with the mainland via a series of bridges. Festive squares leading from cobbled streets await visitors to the picturesque town.
Nice town with a couple of interesting attractions, especially the old castle. Just don't expect to get any help from the tourist center, that was quite abysmal.
