I was here in Jan for a work trip... and wasn't prepared. Didn't have a heavy jacket or scarf. Wow, was it cold. The buses run on ethanol and spew big white puffy exhaust. The hardy local students ride their bikes - with studded tires. Crazy cold. And the sun didn't come up until 10am.

 One pass, you can see auroras with luck, wonderful people, we could skate in the Nydala lake, the cabins and the Nordic environment surrounded by spectacular fir forests, dreamy sunsets and freezing temperatures
