The airport at Hayden, CO (steamboat springs) is unmanned. Coming into it I keep looking out the window, not only at the beautiful mountains, but to make sure we aren't too close to another plane. This is an expensive spot for an average tourist. Queso and chips $12. A simple muffin...$3. My friends sandwich and 2 coffee's was $20. Just be warned.; this is typical for the area, not just aiport.
A great [small] town that offers family fun year round. There are children's activities and plenty outdoor and relaxing options. From hiking to skiing, mountain biking, spa treatments & more, it is a very quaint town that is great for couples and families of all ages.
I'm sure that it's one of the must-visit places on the earth, mainly if you are someone who really likes outdoor sports, friendly people, and nature breathtakings views.. There are inumerous hotels, restaurants and sports shops, and downtown is featured exactly as an tourist little city at Colorado.. For skiers and snowboards (At summer, I believe for mountain bikers too) there is one of the greatest mountain of the world... My stay there was one of the best vacation of my life and I hope be able to go back soon..
Steamboat is known for its skiing in the winter, but this town is also great for a summer get-away. The cowboy aura is everywhere!
