While not a huge destination people think of, it's a great stopover spot between Austin and Dallas. Also, with the popularity of the HGTV stars, Chip and Joanna, this place has definitely seen an uptick in visitors.

By far my favorite location in Waco. If you are unfortunate enough to be stuck living here, have no fear! It really isn't that bad! You can find plenty to occupy your time and everything is pretty cheap (living/lodge/food/activities)
Waco was founded in eighteen forty-nine. It has a population of just about 125 thousand people. It is home to Baylor University, the Dr. Pepper Museum, and the Texas Ranger Hall of Fame.
