Si vienes a Chile, uno de tus destinos debe ser San Pedro. El desierto más árido del mundo y con mucha historia y energías. Los locales, bares y restaurantes cierran temprano, para mí no es lugar para ir de fiesta de noche; pese a que muchos comentan las grandes fiestas que se hacen en los cerros. Yo fui por 4 días y pude recorrer 8 lugares en auto, sale muuucho más barato que pagar tour y la independencia se agradece un montón.

If you're heading to the Atacama Desert, chances are it's been recommended that you stay here for its proximity to the country's largest salt flat and the volcano Licancábur. It's arguable whether tourism has gone too far in this charming adobe town - there's been a proliferation of more upscale places in recent years. Nevertheless, I'd happily go back again and again. Fly from Santiago to Temuco, from there it's just over 100kms drive to San Pedro,
