If you choose to travel there on business or vacation, be respectful of the authorities because they have been known to detain Americans on investigation of espionage. Women should travel in the company of a male and should cover up when out in public. Try not to bring valuable items with you when you travel, and do not leave valuables unattended in your hotel room.
