Did you know that there were 121.5 million unmarried American men at the end of 2016? If you still belong to that group, now you know that you are not alone.
Well, there is no time to feel desperate because it is time to pack your bags. Where will you be going, you may ask? How about my choices for the best cities for single men. All of the cities I picked have lots of singles (just like you), great restaurants, nightlife, and fun hotels that encourage mingling with other guests.
Let’s change that social media status to something other than “single”. Now, buckle up and let’s hit the road.
Best Cities for Single Men:
New York City
New York City is the largest city in the United States. As of July 1st, 2017, New York’s population is estimated to be around 8.6 million.
To make things even more interesting, there are quite a bit more women than men in NYC (women: 52.34%, men: 47.66%).
Only a small percentage of NYC residents were actually born there. People come from all over the country and the world to live in New York. Perhaps there are more people who want to be models and actors than people who want to work in the financial district?
NYC is simply known as “New York” to most outsiders and “the city” to those who live in and around there. So you might want to start practicing if you plan on visiting.
New York’s social scene is also unmatched. Whether you are a foodie looking for the latest restaurant or high-end grocer to the fitness guru trying every trend, NYC is a great place to meet people.
Los Angeles
Right after New York, Los Angeles is the second most populous city in the United States. The estimated 2016 population of Los Angeles was around 4 million.
If you like warm weather, Los Angeles will be perfect for you as it has plenty of sunshine every day of the year.
The Hollywood neighborhood of Los Angeles is known for its showbusiness industry. With that being said, the City of Angels might be a perfect place for you to meet an up-and-coming actress.
Houston
Houston is the most populated city Texas with an estimated 2.2 million residents.
The city comes alive at night with hundreds of bars, restaurants, and clubs, so you won’t have to worry about finding a place that suits your mood.
Make sure you check out Anvil Bar & Rescue for some cool craft cocktails and plenty of people to mingle with.
San Diego
Travel about 120 miles south of Los Angeles and you will be in our next best city for single men – San Diego.
If you are in search of a soulmate that loves comic books as much as you do, San Diego’s Comic-Con will be the perfect place to look.
Aside from that, San Diego offers delicious food and excellent weather and some fantastic hotels. We recommend the Lodge at Torrey Pines for its location to the city and beach, amenities, and classy vibe.
Dallas
Dallas is a modern metropolis and a cultural hub of the region. It is the third largest city in Texas with a population of 1.3 million.
This city is full of interesting restaurants and museums so you will have plenty of things to see, and hopefully, someone new to meet. We recommend checking out Fair Park for events all year round.

Jacksonville
Jacksonville is another city famous for its fantastic weather, which you could say of any place in Florida. This city offers plenty of job opportunities and isn’t super expensive to live and go out in. It could offer you a chance to find your other half.
Jacksonville’s relaxing vibe and fantastic food will make you fall in love in no time.

The Final Verdict
