Getting into Fez is possible by the number 16 bus, or by taxi. Taxis have a pre-registered rate for transport to the downtown part of Fez, and they’re roughly 20 times as expensive as the buses, though still extremely cheap by Western standards. The bus will take a bit longer but is the better option if you’re on a budget or don’t feel like figuring out where your hotel is from downtown Fez.
