The Airports in Orlando and Phoenix

Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFB) is the secondary commercial airport in the city of Orlando. Located about 27 miles northeast of the city, SFB is further from the city than the larger Orlando International, but some may find its smaller size to be more convenient. The airport has an international and a domestic terminal and four runways. Orlando Sanford is a focus city for budget airline Allegiant Air. Allegiant is the only airline that offers flights to Phoenix from SFB with one stop in Memphis. Nonstop flights to Phoenix are not available at Orlando Sanford.

Four airports serve the city of Phoenix: Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX),  Deer Valley Airport (DVT), Goodyear Airport (GYR), and Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport (IWA). All flights from Orlando Sanford International will arrive at Phoenix-Mesa Gateway. Located 20 miles southeast of Phoenix, IWA has one terminal with eight gates.
