Making Your Way to Albuquerque International Sunport

Located three miles from downtown, Albuquerque International Sunport (ABQ) is a gem of an airport. After a quick visit, it’s easy to see why people love this place. The small size, easy layout, and friendly staff make getting to your gate more of a pleasure than a chore. There’s free WiFi on tap and lots of comfortable seating. Anyone with a service dog can use the dedicated pet relief area, but other animals are welcome to visit the outdoor grassy spots around the airport.

You can park at the Sunport for between $7 and $10 a day, or skip the car and choose public transportation. If you’re traveling on a weekend, use the free ABQ Ride Public Bus 250 Downtown Express, which links the airport to the Alvarado Transportation Center, or the Public Bus 222, which connects ABQ to the New Mexico Rail Runner Express. On weekdays and Saturdays, Public Bus 50 is another option. There is no bus service to the Sunport on Sundays.

Arriving in Las Vegas

This glorious temptation in the desert is made of equal parts fortune, nerve, and neon. Your trip to Las Vegas can be just about anything you’d like it to be, from a wild and crazy romp to a secret, sweetly kitsch elopement.
