For authentic cuisine, try the “qabot,” Kuwaiti's own style of dumpling that contains ground meat with raisins served in a tomato broth. You should not eat, drink or smoke in public during the fasting days of Ramadan. However, at the end of the fasting period, you can enjoy plenty of food in recognition of the Eid al-Fitr holiday. Be sure to pack some modest clothing as well to fit in with the local culture.
