Kuwait Airways Loyalty Program, Oasis Club, Discounts and Miles promotions

The Oasis Club is the name of the Kuwait Airways frequent flyer club.  The Oasis Club has these levels:

  • Oasis Blue: by joining, you can start earning miles. You’ll earn extra miles if you fly Business, First or Royal Class.  Note that children as young as 2 can join.
  • Oasis Silver: you will have access to some lounges, you can choose your own seat if selection is possible, you will have priority for check-in, boarding, waitlist and delivery of baggage. Also, if you change the date of your flight on an award ticket, you will not be charged a date change penalty.
  • Oasis Gold: you will have all the benefits of an Oasis Silver member, plus you can bring a guest into the lounge with you and you can check an extra bag on any flight.

You can add to your Oasis Club miles by shopping at one of Oasis Club’s partners.  If you wish to rent a car, consider Budget, Hertz, RentalCars or Sixt.  Need a hotel?  Book a room via Hilton Honors, Rocket Miles, Rotana, Safir, Radisson or Millennium.  Kuwait Airways’ Oasis Club also has partnerships with the Sultan Center (shopping), several financial advisers and the telecom company Travelling Connect.

You can pool miles with other family members so that the miles needed for an award ticket will be reached sooner rather than later.

Your miles with the Oasis Club can be redeemed for award tickets, for yourself and for others.  Note that you will still be responsible for taxes charged on flights.

Note also that miles expire after three years, so you should take that vacation sooner rather than later.  Expiration happens once per year.  You can check the status of your miles online or by contacting the Oasis Club.
