Making your way to Houston’s Airports

George Bush Intercontinental Airport(IHA) is the city’s biggest and busiest airport. Most people drive, but Houston traffic can be intense, so allow an hour’s driving time on average. The METRO public bus route 102 serves IHA. This airport is on a true Texan scale, with 5 large terminals. Terminals B through E are connected by the TerminaLink train, while Terminal A is connected to B and C by a bus service. William P. Hobby Airport (HOU) is a small, single-terminal airport. If you’re flying to Austin with Southwest, this is your airport. About 10 miles outside the city, HOU is served by METRO public bus route 88. If you’re driving, the trip is about 20 minutes long. Hobby also has WiFi and a pet relief area on the east side of the baggage claim area and just north of the passenger pickup area.
