The Kingdom of Morocco is a country located in North Africa. Its landscape is equal parts mountain and desert, and it is borders both the Atlantic Ocean and Mediterranean Sea. Morocco has a growing population of 33 million people, a bulk of which live in Casablanca and the capital city of Rabat. A blend of European, Sub-Saharan African, and Arab cultures distinguishes this country from many of those on the continent.
It is subdivided into multiple regions, and these are the Mediterranean, North and South Atlantic Coast, High, Middle, and Anti Atlas, as well as Saharan. The views in this unique country range from ancient seaside towns to medieval cities to snow-covered mountain ranges to miles of Sub-Saharan sand dunes!

What to Do in Morocco
Most visitors spend at least a few hours exploring the attractions in Casablanca, notably the Hassan II mosque and the diverse display of French colonial architecture. The former imperial capital of Marrakesh, perhaps better known as “Red City,” still contains the original defense walls and gates constructed by the local rebellion movement.
Here travelers will also find the famous Saadian Tombs, El Badi Palace, and Koutoubia Mosque. The city of Fez is yet another medieval city full of old world streets and wondrous medina. For the adventurous, camel trips through the Saharan can be found in Erg Chebbi.
