Ponciano Arriaga International Airport
Ponciano Arriaga International Airport is located on the Matehuala Highway, about 15 miles from downtown. The airport is a gateway for international flights to Houston and Dallas as well as other destinations in Mexico. Car rental and taxis are available from the terminal, and hotels usually provide shuttle service. Taxis into town cost around $25 and about half that amount to go from town to the airport. Public bus transportation is about a mile from the main terminal at Terrestre Potosina where you can find buses into town as well as interstate buses.
