When is the Best Time to Fly to Amman?
Most people choose to travel to Amman in the warm summer months of June through August. Tourism slows a bit in the winter because of the cool, rainy weather. What to Expect at the Airport in Amman
Two airports serve the Amman area, including Amman Civil - Marka airport and Queen Alia International Airport. The vast majority of flights from the United States will arrive at Queen Alia International. Located about 20 miles south of the city, Queen Alia has one large terminal and two runways. When you arrive, you can get to the city in a variety of ways. Take the Sariyah shuttle bus that runs every 30 minutes or a taxi service. You could also rent a car if you prefer to explore the city on your own.

What to Do in Amman
